Top Picks: Oskia & Zelens

We've launched a lot of new brands this year, but two that really peaked my interest were Oskia and Zelens. Favourites among beauty bloggers and YouTube skincare gurus, I was eager to find out if these two brands lived up to their expectations. I'm happy to say there are some products that I loved so much I just have to share them with you all.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel

It's a bold claim, but I'm going to go there; the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is my favourite skincare discovery of 2016. That's no exaggeration. This nourishing gel transforms to an oil once massaged into the skin, dissolving all traces of dirt and make up. Although I have oily skin, the oil feels so light and nourishing on the skin. It sounds strange, but it actually makes cleansing enjoyable and means I work the cleanser into the skin longer than I usually would. Once rinsed away, my skin feels soft and smooth without that tight, uncomfortable feeling. I can see all skins loving this product.

Zelens PHA+Bio-Peel Resurfacing Pads

At this time of year a little exfoliation does my skin wonders in boosting radiance and smoothing my skin texture, but too much leaves me dehydrated. The gentle blend of PHAs (poly hydroxy acids), AHAs (alpha hydroxyl acids) and BHAs (beta hydroxyl acids) smooth and exfoliate the skin in a manner that is safe enough for daily use. I love the feeling these give and the pads make application quick, easy and fuss free.

Oskia Eye Wonder

2016 was the year that I really got into eye creams. As a twenty-something, I've found the first signs of ageing are beginning to show around the eyes. I have very sensitive eyes are find that so many eye creams burn and sting the area, but not this little wonder. The lightweight gel serum applies so smoothly, absorbs super quickly and causes no irritation. My eye area is so much more hydrated and my lines are much less noticeable. I'm not sure how it would work on mature skins, but it's perfect for the first signs of ageing. Plus, half a pump is more than enough for both eyes so it'll last for ages.
