Omorovicza started with a love story. Margaret and Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza met in Budapest, not only falling in love with each other, but also the ancient thermal baths and the mineral rich healing waters. We wanted to dig a little deeper and get to know the Hungarian brand here's what we found out when we spoke with Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza
Q: Hungarian mineral-rich waters are at the heart of Omorovicza products. What makes them so beneficial for skin?
The secret to the healing Hungarian waters lies in the fact that the crust of the earth is thinner there than elsewhere. This allows the waters to absorb beneficial minerals more effectively on their way to the surface, meaning that certain springs contain a combination of minerals that have been shown to have a profoundly revitalising effect on the skin.Q: We love a skincare innovation; can you tell us more about Omorovicza's Healing Concentrate?
The Healing Concentrate is a patented formula where minerals have been reconfigured so they can be easily absorbed into the epidermis, where they are most effective.Q: What would be your one desert island/can't live without Omorovicza product?
What a difficult question!! I would say the Rejuvenating Night Cream as it is phenomenal in all types of conditions and leaves skin glowing.When applied the buttery night cream soothes and comforts skin, delivering long-lasting hydration thanks to apple pectin.The cream also contains carrot oil, which is rich in pro-vitamin A and works to boost the production of collagen. In combination with hazelnut peptide, skin is plumped, firmed and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.Q: Why did you decide to exclude synthetic ingredients from Omorovicza products?
The brand is such an extension of us in every way - the fact that Omorovicza excludes synthetic ingredients is a reflection of how Stephen and I lead our lives. I love Omorovicza because we are so much more than simply 'natural' skincare brand.Q: Without giving away any new products on the horizon, what would be the ultimate product that you'd love to create and launch with Omorovicza?
I would love to innovate with products for the scalp. We recently launched the amazing Revitalising Scalp Mask and there is so much more to be done in this area.Q: Last but not least, any recommendations for a visit to Budapest? The thermal baths sounds incredible and we want to go now!
